A metaphor for diaspora: a Filipinx girl takes a trip to Coney Island and discovers icons of her ancestors on the beach. She retells a story that has been passed down through her family as she recontextualizes ancestral wisdom in her home in New York.

part love letter to kasamas who have brought me back into a big gay Filipino family/
part montage of what Filipino community organizing looks like in New York/
part manifesto of the Filipino freedom that I dream of.
If Filipinos were free, like free free,
I think we would all be artists.
Because I think all Filipinos are artists 💖
